i went to the whole settings thing, and it works for a while, but then it undoes itself.

i can't do it either when i go to the profile settings thing, it always shows up. I thought i was the only one

go to edit profile, then to your account settings, go under privacy, you'll see if you want to show your online icon on or off, hope this works!
