You can't. The sponsers pay for the privilege of advertising there. Since the site is free to you; this is how the people running myspace make their money. You can't hide advertisements.

You can't hide it on the main page

But you can hide the ads on your actual profile. You need to use a DIV layout. there are many tutorials on how to make a DIV layout, just goole it
