How do you hide your groups on a Myspace profile?

I joined a group that my friend created, but not enough people joined, and she deleted it. It still shows up in my groups, but I can't quit because there it shows that the group has an "invalid ID". If you know how I can delete the group, or how I can hide the group box in my profile, I would greatly appreciate it.

go to your home page, then click on account settings. then under "profile settings" click "change settings. uncheck the "display groups i belong to" box then save your settings, and your all done.

Hit the Miscellaneous option, first checkbox is "Display Groups on Profile"

Uncheck this, and your groups will not be shown.
